I recommend Sue Greenberg without hesitation. As editor of a psychoanalytic literary journal, I rely on her timeliness, close reading skills, and capacity to work closely (and amiably) with writers to bring each
of our editions to publication.

I’ve come to value how easily and thoughtfully she works with psychological concepts and terminology.  More importantly, her combination of professionalism and sense of humor has made it easy (and often enjoyable) for us to work together on what is often a very complicated project.

It is rare to find an editor who can edit from within the voice of the writer. Sue has the gift of being able to get the drift of the writing she is editing and work with the author to retain their voice but also facilitate their writing within the constraints of written language.

Her understanding of psychological writing and writing psychologically is an added benefit to her skill set as an editor. Not often does one say it is a pleasure to work with an editor – but this I can wholeheartedly say about Sue.

Sue edited my writing on multiple occasions. Each time she significantly improved my work, offered suggestions and insight, and was always prompt.

I recently hired her to edit a chapter I wrote for a book, even though the publisher had their own editor. I was so glad I did! Having Sue as a second pair of eyes, along with her stellar editorial suggestions, boosted my confidence in the final product.
